Kitchen Sink Stoppage in Solana Beach

Our dispatch department received a call regarding a kitchen sink stoppage. Our technician arrived on-site and discovered the stoppage coming up through the kitchen sink. The technician ran a 1/4″ cable through the kitchen drain to clear the stoppage in doing so did not remove the clogged line. The p-trap was taken apart and the technician discovered Metamucil dietary product inside the drain line. The drain pipe needed to be removed to clear all pipes out. The drain lines were reconnected with 1 1/2″ couplings. Drain lines were tested for proper drainage and everything ran smoothly!
